Jess at Winky Dink Ink in Valley Cottage, NY free-handed my cherry blossom tattoo.  I’ve always wanted to get a tattoo, and my best friend finally gave me that extra push to get it when I decided what I really wanted.  It’s my first tattoo, and everyone at the shop said I was crazy for getting something so big in a painful spot.  I suppose I just enjoy the pain.

Cherry blossoms remind me of the fleetingness of life and to cherish the moments that we have while they last.  

I love it.
